Icelandic Mondays with Boogie Trouble

Boogie-Trouble

It is already another Icelandic Monday and it is hard to believe that tomorrow will be October and we get constantly closer to Airwaves. This week I present to you the amazing and fun Boogie Trouble.

I saw Boogie Trouble last year in Reykjavík and instantly fell in love with them. They are a pretty new band, formed in 2011 but with members from some other well-known Icelandic acts including: Rökkurró, Bárujárn, Útidúr and Sprengjuhöllin!

They are [clearly] inspired by Disco, as well as influences of Funk, from the 1970s and re-create it into their own light-hearted, positive music to jam and dance to. If you’re not having a good time Boogie Trouble will do something about it by making sure you are on your feet and smiling by the time they are through.
